At the end of the year, the 2022 Guangzhou Auto Show will kick off on December 30. This is an important time node that connects the past and the future. On the one hand, it is a wonderful year-end summary of this year’s auto market. On the other hand, it will also become a bellwether for next year’s auto market, injecting strong vitality into the overall recovery of the auto industry.
At this year’s Guangzhou Auto Show, new energy vehicles are still the leading role in the halo. Chinese brands and joint venture brands will feature the strongest model lineup. Let’s take a sneak peek and see which model can become the unmissable popularity king at the auto show.
GAC Aian Hyper GT

GAC Aian, which has a home court advantage, will make its debut with its new high-end brand Hyper Haobo, and the new model Hyper GT will make its debut like Wang fried at the auto show.

Hyper GT was born in AEP 3.0, a new generation of pure electric exclusive platform, and is also the first model in the Hyper series to be equipped with the Xingling architecture. It will use the new Eros Arrow Logo, which is the highest embodiment of AEP’s vehicle construction level.

Recently, the official release of the Hyper GT’s exterior design drawings, short front and rear hanging streamlined body, low wind resistance design to create a dynamic, gull wing door opening method, and a frameless door, the roof and rear window are connected to form a huge canopy, the tail handsome spoiler, three lidar blessing to assist driving.

The interior is expected to be equipped with an independent full LCD instrument and a floating central control screen, and the steering wheel is designed with a sports flat bottom.

Hyper GT is positioned as a 300,000-class coupe. It is expected to launch two power versions of single motor and dual motor. The single-motor version accelerates 0-100km/h in only 4.9 seconds. The power parameters of the dual-motor version of Hyper GT are still to be officially announced. In addition, Hyper GT will also support 480kW ultra-fast charging and power exchange function.

In terms of smart cockpit and intelligent driving, the Xingling architecture on the Hyper GT incorporates the FY-3 infrared remote sensing technology, which makes up for the perception defects of the "radar + camera" in bad weather through the principle of thermal imaging of the living body. In addition, 39 sensors, including 3 second-generation zoom lidars, can achieve a high-level intelligent driving experience.
Landmap Chasing Light
On December 15, the first large and medium-sized pure electric car chasing light under Lantu was officially released and opened for pre-sale. The pre-sale price of the three models was 322,900 yuan for the standard version, 352,900 yuan for the flagship version, and 432,900 yuan for the long-life flagship version. It is expected that the Guangzhou Auto Show site can see the real face.

The size of the Lantu chaser body is 5088 * 1970 * 1505mm, the wheelbase is 3000mm, the front face adopts a closed design, and it is equipped with a through light strip and a luminous logo. The side of the body is equipped with a hidden door handle, the back half of the body adopts a slip-back design, and the rear is equipped with a through taillight, a luminous VOYAH word mark and a lifting electric tail, with a drag coefficient of 0.22.

The interior uses a family-style triple screen, with a 9-inch touch screen under the center console to control air conditioning, seats and other functions. In addition, it is also equipped with AR-HUD, front and rear seat massage/heating/ventilation, rear seat backrest adjustment, right and rear seat electric leg support, four-tone area intelligent voice interaction, facial recognition, breathing ambient light, 50W wireless fast charging, 14-speaker Danah audio and other configurations and functions.

In the power part, Lantu Chaser adopts a suspension combination of front double fork arms + rear five links, equipped with air springs, and is equipped with front and rear dual permanent magnet synchronous motors with a maximum power of 375kW and a peak torque of 730N · m. The official 0-100km/h acceleration time is 3.8s, and the maximum speed is 210km/h. Standard and flagship models are equipped with 82kWh semi-solid-state battery packs, with a CLTC cruising range of 580km;
The long-range flagship model is equipped with a 109kWh ternary lithium battery pack, with a CLTC battery life of 730km.

Lantu Chasing Light is equipped with 12 cameras, 12 ultrasonic radars, 5 millimeter-wave radars, and 2 high-precision positioning units, supporting high-speed pilot-assisted driving, remote parking, memory parking, and other functions.
BYD Frigate 07
BYD’s cumulative sales reached 1.634 million units in the first 11 months of 2022, and its market share has risen to 6.7%. Many models firmly occupy the top of the sales list in various market segments. At the Guangzhou Auto Show, whether it is Dynasty or Ocean series, it will gather high popularity and attention, such as the new frigate 07 that has just been listed.

Frigate 07 has 6 models, priced at 100km luxury 202,800 yuan, 100km distinguished 215,800 yuan, 100km flagship 228,800 yuan, 205km distinguished 245,800 yuan, 205km flagship 259,800 yuan, 175km four-wheel drive flagship 289,800 yuan.

The body size of the new car is 4820 * 1920 * 1750mm, the wheelbase is 2820mm, and the positioning of the plug-in hybrid medium-sized SUV. The exterior design basically continues the style of the previous X DREAM concept car. The front face adopts a large-sized polygonal air intake grille, luminous BYD word mark and matrix LED headlights. The side of the body is equipped with hidden door handles and D-pillar energy indicators. The rear adopts through taillights and is equipped with a larger-sized spoiler.

The interior features a large five-seat layout, with suede materials for door panels, center console, and seat parts. Changan dark blue S7

Changan officially confirmed that the new SUV model Changan Deep Blue S7 will be officially released at the Guangzhou Auto Show. This is the second model after the SL03, further improving the brand’s product matrix.

The body size of Changan Deep Blue S7 is 4750 * 1930 * 1625mm, the wheelbase is 2900mm, and the curb weight is 1950-2035kg.
The front face of the new car is more similar to the dark blue SL03. It adopts a family-style design. The closed front is matched with split headlights, and the sharp lines are outlined, which is very visually impactful. Depending on the model configuration, the new car will offer 19-inch or 20-inch wheels.

The pure electric version is equipped with a single motor with a maximum power of 160kW or 190kW and a ternary lithium battery pack, and the range extension version is equipped with a motor with a maximum power of 175kW and a 1.5L range extender with a maximum power of 70kW, as well as a lithium iron phosphate battery pack.
Wisdom LS7

Zhiji Automobile further accelerates the pace of new car listing. On December 20, Zhiji LS7 medium and large pure electric SUV debuted and started pre-sale. The pre-sale price is 350,000 – 500,000 yuan. It will be officially listed in mid-February 2023 and delivered in March.

The body size of the Zhiji LS7 is 5049 * 2002 * 1731mm, the wheelbase is 3060mm, and it is positioned as a pure electric medium and large SUV. The front and rear of the car retain a lamp group design similar to the Zhiji L7, and dual lidar and Carlog roof imaging systems can be installed on the roof.

The interior of the vehicle is designed with a liftable ultra-long continuous screen + sub-dashboard screen, and an optional YAT cruise half-width steering wheel. In addition, the top of the front windshield can be extended directly above the front row, providing users with a 106 ° field of view, and three-layer silver plating technology is used to improve heat and UV insulation.

The car seat of Zhiji LS7 adopts a 2 + 3 five-seat layout, the right seat is equipped with an electric slide rail with a length of 1955mm, the passenger seat can be fully folded forward, and the right side of the rear row is a "zero gravity floating seat".

According to the MIIT declaration information, the rear-drive version is equipped with a motor with a maximum power of 250kW, and the four-wheel drive version is equipped with a front and rear dual motor with a maximum power of 425kW. The battery pack of the car is divided into 90kWh and 100kWh versions, of which the CLTC model equipped with a 100kWh battery pack has a maximum cruising range of 660km.
NIO EC7

NIO officially released the new car EC7 on NIO Day 2022. The ordinary version of the model is equipped with a 75kWh battery pack starting at 488,000 yuan, a 100kWh battery pack starting at 546,000 yuan, and a BaaS plan starting at 418,000 yuan; the first version of the model starts at 578,000 yuan, and the BaaS plan starts at 450,000 yuan. It is expected to be delivered in May 2023.

EC7 is based on NIO’s second-generation technology platform NT2.0, with a body size of 4968 * 1974 * 1714mm and a wheelbase of 2960mm. It is positioned as a pure electric medium and large Coupe SUV. The appearance is equipped with intelligent multi-beam of light headlights, hidden door handles, hidden high-level brake lights and dual-mode active lifting tail wings. The rear section of the body is a slip-back design, and the vehicle drag coefficient is 0.23.

The interior is equipped with 10.2-inch HDR digital instrument, 12.8-inch AMOLED central control screen and 16.3-inch HUD, equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip and Banyan intelligence system, optional NOMI Mate 2.0 vehicle artificial intelligence partner.

In the power part, the EC7 adopts the suspension form of front double fork arm + rear H arm multi-link, equipped with intelligent dual-cavity air suspension and CDC dynamic suspension damping control. The whole system is equipped with front and rear dual motors with a maximum power of 480kW and a peak torque of 850N · m. The official 0-100km/h acceleration time is 3.8s. Equipped with a 75kWh battery pack, the CLTC has a battery life of up to 490km; equipped with a 100kWh battery pack, the CLTC has a battery life of 635km.

一汽丰田bZ3

在新能源领域,合资品牌也将奋起直追,丰田和比亚迪联手打造的中型纯电动轿车bZ3就将在广州车展亮相。此前新车已开启预定,预售价18.98万-21.98万元,预计于2023年一季度正式上市。
新车基于e-TNGA平台打造,搭载比亚迪电池和电机,车身尺寸分别为4725/1835/1475mm,轴距达到2880mm,与特斯拉Model 3尺寸相当。外观采用“Hi-Tech & Emotion科技与温度”设计语言,标志性的锤头鲨前脸让先进科技与感官体验相辅相成,溜背设计呈现出电动车独特的修长车身造型。

内饰方面,bZ3采用“Digital Island 数字岛”设计,配备双平底三辐式多功能方向盘,悬浮式全液晶仪表盘和竖置悬浮式中控屏,换挡机构采用旋钮式设计,搭配周围香槟金色装饰件,进一步提升车内质感。

在三电技术上,bZ3搭载了丰田与比亚迪联合研发的磷酸铁锂电池,电机最大功率180千瓦,最大扭矩303牛·米,最小转弯半径5.6m。续航上,bZ3有容量49.9千瓦时和65.2千瓦时两款磷酸铁锂刀片电池组可选,CLTC续航分别为517km和616km。

Buick Electra E5

As the first mass-produced model of SAIC-GM Buick based on the Ultium electric vehicle platform, the Electra E5 trial vehicle will be officially launched on December 28. This five-seat medium and large pure electric SUV is expected to debut at the 2022 Guangzhou Auto Show and be delivered in the first half of next year.

The Buick Electra E5 continues the PURE Design concept of the Buick Electra-X concept car, with a body length, width and height of 4892/1905/1681 (1684) mm and a wheelbase of 2954mm. The front face adopts a new cornice spread wing design, the closed middle net adopts a wave shape, and adds a dot matrix decoration embellishment. The side of the body adopts a short front and rear overhang design, with a longer wheelbase and more space. The rear is equipped with a through taillight and adopts the new Buick family logo.

In terms of power, the new car is based on GM’s Ultium electric vehicle platform, with a maximum power of 180kW for a single-motor model. It is equipped with a ternary lithium battery from SAIC. The capacity and cruising range have not been announced yet.

Buick Electra E5 is equipped with a new generation of Super Cruise super driver assistance system, as well as a new generation of VCS intelligent cockpit system jointly developed by General Motors and Pan Asia Automotive Technology Center, supporting multiple OTA upgrades a year.
